Three specifications define LED lighting quality: efficacy, CRI, and CCT. Here is what they mean and how to choose.
Efficacy (lm/W)
Efficacy measures how much light a fixture produces per watt of electricity. Higher efficacy means lower energy costs. For commercial applications, aim for 130-150 lm/W. Our HALO COB LED AR111 achieves 140 lm/W at 35W, MIGNON LED Track Light get 135~140 lm/W at 20W CRI>90 3000K, making it among the most efficient in its class.
CRI (Color Rendering Index)
CRI measures how accurately colors appear under the light. On a scale of 0-100: 70+ is acceptable for industrial/outdoor, 80+ is standard for commercial, 90+ is required for retail and display applications. Our Track Light achieves CRI 95+ with exceptional red rendering (R9 90+).
CCT (Correlated Color Temperature)
CCT describes the color appearance of the light: 3000K (warm white) for hospitality, 4000K (neutral white) for offices, 5000K-6500K (cool white/daylight) for industrial and precision work. Many of our fixtures offer selectable CCT, allowing you to choose on-site.
